OXY™ helps pharmacists prevent prescription abuse of
controlled substance prescriptions by checking the driver's license
when filling the prescription and verifying that the
individual has not received additional prescriptions in
excess of what is required for treatment. In coordination with state PMP programs, ComplyScan OXY
checks the individual's purchase history against other
locations in the system and alerts the pharmacist if the
individual has a suspect purchase history. This prevents
fake or excess prescriptions from being passed.
